Actual salary for 30 hours, term time only 37 weeks is 16,685.99

Actual part time salary will be dependent on working hours agreed.

Learning Support Assistants

to join our inclusive and learner-focused team.

What You'll Do:



Provide tailored support to learners with a range of disabilities, both in group settings and one-to-one. Assist in the delivery of learning programmes, including support with Maths and English. Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Work closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure learners reach their full potential.

Essential Requirements:



Recent experience in a Further Education (FE) setting. Experience supporting across a range of disabilities. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/Level 2 or willingness to work towards. Relevant subject specialist qualifications or training (e.g. Supporting Teaching and Learning Level 2+, CACHE Level 2+, SaLT, Makaton, BSL, Moving and Handling). Strong communication and ICT skills. A positive, empathetic attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable:



Experience supporting learners with behaviours that challenge. Experience supporting learners in Maths and English. Level 3 Diploma in Education and Training. Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification. Awareness of current developments in Further Education and SEND.
