Contract/Hours:

32.5 hrs/wk, Term Time Only plus one week. M-F 8.30am-3.30pm with hr lunch

Salary:

Band 3, FTE 24,027 - 24,420 pro rata 18791- 19,098

St John's Cathedral Catholic Primary is a small, friendly school in the heart of Portsmouth. We have a tradition of providing an excellent education alongside superb pastoral care.

We are currently seeking to appoint experienced LSAs to work across our school and nursery with pupils who have a range of needs. The role will include working with pupils with behaviour and/or special educational needs. Duties may include some break time supervision, support in class and personal care.

We are looking for LSAs who:

Have experience of working with children with special educational needs Will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of pupils enabling them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them. Will promote the Catholic ethos of the school Are positive, caring and works well in a team Have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in supporting teaching and learning (or equivalent)
