Learning Support Mentor
We are seeking a Learning Support Mentor to join a nurturing and inclusive school that provides an alternative approach for young people who may have become disengaged from education. This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in re-engaging students through individualised learning opportunities, mentoring, and positive life experiences.
The school's mission is to help students build confidence, develop resilience, and achieve success--whether through personal milestones, ASDAN, Functional Skills, or GCSE qualifications. With a strong emphasis on trust, consistency, and respect, the team works closely with young people to encourage positive change and help them flourish both in and out of the classroom.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting a small caseload of students through mentoring and tailored learning activities. Building positive relationships that encourage engagement and self-confidence. Planning and delivering 1:1 and small group sessions. Working with staff, families, and external agencies to support individual needs. Recording progress and contributing to student action plans.
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting young people with barriers to learning. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. A belief in every young person's potential to succeed.

Pay: 24,420.00-25,000.00 per year
