Join our Broadcast and Media Systems team in higher education, supporting TV and radio studio production while assisting students in lectures. You'll help students navigate industry-standard software and workflows, ensuring they gain practical, hands-on experience. We're seeking a collaborative team player who thrives in a high-pressure, dynamic environment and is passionate about media production and education. Responsibilities

The role assists with the production of television programmes, radio programmes, creative media and podcasting production and assists with the support of website content management systems and social media management tools. Additionally there is a requirement to perform maintenance and operate studio equipment: including TV studio cameras & control room equipment and radio studio equipment.


Person Specification


------------------------


Educated to degree level level or equivalent Experience of working in Further Education or Higher Education Experienced in using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of applications - Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, - or other non-linear video editing systems: Apple iMovie / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve - plus Photoshop and InDesign Experience of working with content management systems and social media management tools. Good level of analytical and problem solving skills. Wide range of IT and technical skills to meet the requirements of the University technology, users and customers. Ability to use own initiative and work independently and as part of a Team. Good organisational, planning and prioritising skills. Excellent customer services skills, including the ability to deal with contacts both within and outside the institution. Keen interest in media production technology, willing to learn new skills via training on relevant software
