Leasing Financial Specialist
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Finance Specialist in Capital & Lease Accounting to join their Financial Operations team in Cardiff. The team provides professional financial support across the business, focusing on Capital Accounting and IFRS16 leases, ensuring operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
? Provide technical expertise on IFRS 16 leasing and related costs.
? Assess BBC contracts for lease requirements.
? Manage lease contracts and forecasts.
? Ensure compliance with client accounting policies.
Candidate Requirements
? Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
? Experience with IFRS 16 accounting.
? Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
? Ability to communicate complex data effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
? Experience with SAP is beneficial but not essential.
