An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Campus Oldham (Higher Education at Oldham College) for a Lecturer in Children & Young People. We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic academic who is able to contribute to the successful design, development and delivery of our undergraduate courses at UCO.
As Lecturer, you will mainly be responsible for teaching modules across our FdA and BA (Hons) in Children & Young People with some delivery on the Foundation Entry Year, a Level 3 programme common to both our Children & Young People and Education & Early Years degrees.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the Children and Young People sector and be confident teaching undergraduate students at Levels 4-6. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their academic career in a small and friendly environment, whilst utilising their vocational skills background to enrich the student experience.
The successful candidate will have industry experience and a proven record in inspirational teaching at HE level and have a demonstrable commitment to teaching and learning excellence.

This is a part-time position working 18.5 hours per week, which will include a teaching commitment of 315 hours per academic year.
