The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled
Lecturer - General Engineering (BCE)
to join our dynamic teaching team, supporting the delivery of high-quality education to apprentices and full-time learners. This role involves teaching across a range of engineering topics, including core engineering principles, industry safety standards, and practical applications relevant to today&s engineering environments.
You will contribute to the development and delivery of a well-structured curriculum, ensuring it meets both educational requirements and current industry expectations. You will assess student work, provide tailored feedback, and facilitate both theoretical and practical learning in classroom and workshop settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering$umechanical, electrical, or multi-disciplinary, excellent communication skills, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across a range of engineering topics, tailored to both apprentices and full-time students
Develop and maintain up-to-date curriculum resources that reflect industry standards and educational best practices
Support the academic and practical development of learners through clear instruction and structured training in both classroom and workshop environments
Assess learner progress through a variety of methods (assignments, practical observations, exams), ensuring accurate records and meaningful feedback
Contribute to quality assurance, continuous improvement processes, and learner support strategies to promote high achievement and retention
