South Devon College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable

Lecturer in Accounting

and Finance

to join our Business and Community Education Faculty.


In this role, you'll deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of levels and finance subjects, using creative and inclusive approaches that meet the needs of diverse learners. You'll be responsible for planning and organising courses, assessing student progress, and supporting learners through tutorials and individual learning plans. You'll contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and improvement strategies, working closely with the Programme Coordinator and Faculty Head. You'll also play an active role in student recruitment, marketing, and employer engagement, while promoting safeguarding, equality, and British values throughout your work.


The successful candidate will hold a degree or vocational qualification in a relevant subject. You will hold a Level 7 professional accounting qualification. You will have experience in teaching and a commitment to student-centred learning, with strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
