The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and creative Lecturer in Art and Design to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) team. This is a fixed-term opportunity, starting January 2026 until July 2026, where you will help shape the next generation of artists and designers while contributing to a vibrant and supportive academic community.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Lecturer in Art and Design, you will play a key role in delivering inspiring and inclusive teaching to our students. Your main duties will involve:

• Delivering and managing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in art and design.
• Assisting in curriculum design, development, and quality improvement to enhance the student experience.
• Supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing targeted academic and developmental guidance.
• Engaging with creative scholarship, research, and professional practice to enrich teaching.
• Using digital and face-to-face teaching methods, including the VLE and other platforms, to support student success.
