Salary: 20.51 - 24.72 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Fixed Term For 7 Weeks Only (03/11/25 until 19/12/25)
Approx 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (Variable hours contract)

Lecturer in Art & Design - The Role:
Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a passionate and creative Lecturer in Art & Design to join our Creative Arts team on a short-term basis to cover shared parental leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support students in a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking learning environment.
In this role, you will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of Level 1 and Level 2 Art & Design programmes. You will be a key part of a supportive team, planning lessons that foster creativity and confidence, and guiding learners to reach their full potential.
Lecturer in Art & Design - Key Responsibilities:
As a Lecturer in Art & Design, you will:

• Delivering lessons in line with curriculum requirements and college standards
• Preparing lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments
• Supporting students both academically and pastorally
• Maintaining accurate records and participating in quality assurance processes

Lecturer in Art & Design - You:
We are looking for someone who brings both practical expertise and educational insight to the classroom. You should be enthusiastic about nurturing creative talent and committed to helping every student succeed.

• A relevant degree in Art, Design, or a related field
• A recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
• Experience teaching in FE or a similar setting (desirable)
• Current knowledge of the creative industries and a personal artistic/design practice
• Strong communication, organisation, and digital skills
• A commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding, and learner well-being
