An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our Construction, Professional and Service Industries team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. As a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy within Stockton Riverside College, you will be responsible for leading, planning and development of the curriculum, along with delivering, engaging lessons, aligned with awarding body requirements and college standards.



You will develop courses in collaboration with employers and in turn focusing upon emerging trends in the sector. You will develop schemes of learning, lesson plans, and learning resources to meet diverse learner needs, collaborate with colleagues, employers, and external bodies to enhance the learner experience and support employability outcomes, and be responsible for student retention, attendance and achievement.



The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced within the Beauty Sector who is ready to take a step into Teaching and Learning. You will deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive teaching to learners across a range of qualifications -- from Level 1 possibly through to Level 4, including adult learning programmes and 14-16 provision.



We are looking for:


Recognised Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Beauty Therapy Industry experience with up-to-date knowledge of current practices and trends. Strong communication and organisational skills. Commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching and continuous professional development.
