, we're looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and dedicated

Lecturer in Computing to join our forward-thinking team. You'll be working with motivated learners across Level 2-3 courses, delivering a wide range of exciting and industry-relevant Computing and IT topics.

Job Title: Lecturer in Computing - Fixed Term Contract of 1 Year

About the Role:

Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a variety of Computing/IT courses.*
Develop inspiring schemes of work, session plans, and learning resources.*
Mark and provide constructive feedback to students, ensuring progress is clearly tracked.*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and drive success across the department.*

Essential Qualifications:

A Computing/IT or related degree/Level 5 qualification Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent Level 5 Teaching Qualification / completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course.

Essential Experience:

Experience of delivering Computing related subjects reflecting recent changes in industry and including the use of modern technology. Experience of undertaking a pastoral role and effectively using individual learning planning to raise achievement. Experience of managing and motivating young learners (Secondary/16-19yr olds)
