We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated

Lecturer in Counselling

to join our experienced team of well-qualified and dedicated staff. The successful candidate will deliver counselling theory and practice across a range of qualifications, while providing consistently high-quality education and training that inspires learners and fosters personal and professional growth.



Your teaching will support learners in developing the reflective, interpersonal, and ethical skills they need to become effective and empathetic counselling professionals, ready to succeed in further study, employment, or private practice. You will have a strong understanding of current developments in the field of counselling, including therapeutic models, ethics, and mental health awareness. You will bring an ability to motivate and engage learners, some of whom may have faced personal or educational barriers, by creating inclusive, supportive, and thought-provoking learning environments.



Our counselling curriculum ranges from Level 2 Introduction to Counselling Skills through to Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, this will expand to L5 in 26-27. You will play a key role in delivering this progression pathway and supporting students on both their academic and emotional journeys.



(The pro rata salary for this role is 21,216 - 34, 418)
