JOB REF: VAF126: VARIABLE HOURS LECTURER IN COUNSELLING
20.59 - 22.66 per taught hour, dependent on qualifications & experience
Variable Hours - approximately 3 hours per week (evening)
The Health and Social Care programme are looking to extend their Counselling qualifications suite. We currently offer a level 2 and level 3 qualification.
Requirements for Lecturer in Counselling
Membership of UKCP/BACP
Current and significant counselling experience with evidence of continued CPD
Degree in Psychology (or equivalent)
Responsibilities for Lecturer in Counselling
Enable learners to embark on practice working within an ethical framework
Acting as a course tutor to appropriate student groups
To ensure high quality teaching, learning and assessment and a positive experience for the learner
