We are seeking a highly motivated, and experienced individual to take on the role of Lecturer in Dental Public Health. The post will be based at the UCL Research Department of Epidemiology Public Health which is part of UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care https://www.ucl.ac.uk/population-health-sciences/epidemiology-health-care/research/ucl-research-department-epidemiology-public-health.
About the role
------------------
The role will support Course Directors of the MSc in Dental Public Health programme in successfully running the MSc course. The post holder will be required to deliver teaching sessions, act as a module co-lead, supervise MSc student dissertations and act as a personal tutor for MSc students. In addition, the post holder will be required to support research activities within the Dental Public Health Group and specifically the NIHR Global Oral Health Group that is co-led by Professor Richard Watt. Application Details: o Appointment at Grade 8. The post is offered at UCL Grade 8 (54,931 - 64,644) including London Allowance 4,678 with a Market Supplement to take the salary up to a maximum of 78,799 (pro-rata, per annum) depending on qualifications and experience. o This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff. About you

The post holder will hold a dental degree with General Dental Council (GDC) registration, an MSc/MA degree in health sciences, (dental) public/global health, social science or related discipline and have clinical experience in NHS Community Dental Services and/or General Dental Services or equivalent dental services. The post holder will have experience of teaching and supervision of postgraduate students. Additionally, the post holder will have experience of undertaking research in low and middle income (LMIC) countries with a wider understanding of the global health research agenda.
