This exciting role within the College of Creative Arts, Technology and Engineering is for an Lecturer in Digital Apprenticeships to teach on our three-year Digital Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship degree programme. The programme is designed for current or aspiring practitioners in the IT related areas covered by the apprenticeships standard for Digital and Technology Solutions Professional. Within this context, it is designed for professionals who provide technology enabled solutions to internal and/or external customers in a range of areas including software, business and systems analysis, cyber security, data analysis and network infrastructure. We are particularly looking for talented individuals with experience of:
Front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, front-end frameworks - e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
Back-end software development (e.g. Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.JS, PHP, SQL, Postman or equivalent)
Mobile app development, including Progressive Web Apps (e.g. React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin)
Cloud Computing (AWS or Azure)
Cyber Security and InfoSec
Modern Software Engineering practices (including Agile/Scrum, Test Automation, CI/CD)
Technical / Digital leadership
Please note: you will be expected to teach at our High Wycombe campus and online.

Research and Knowledge Exchange:
Conduct research and scholarly activity, clearly plan to generate income and align own research with teaching and learning
Engage with relevant business and professional networks to promote teaching and learning and research in a professional context
Engage in doctoral supervision
Contribute to knowledge through refereed conference outputs and peer-reviewed (non-conference) outputs
Embed research within teaching and curriculum and contribute to research impact
Contribute to the leadership of an inclusive and interdisciplinary research culture
