We are currently recruiting for a Electrical Engineering Lecturer based in St Helens on either a temporary or permanent basis.

This college group has numerous sites across the St Helens area and is one of the Northwest\xe2\x80\x99s largest further and higher education providers!

The current Construction and Engineering department based at their St Helens campus is looking to expand and recruit an exceptional and knowledgeable Electrical Engineering Lecturer on a full-time basis.

Job Role: Electrical Engineering Lecturer

Contract: Temporary or Permanent

Rate: Up to \xc2\xa330 per hour + holiday pay or up to \xc2\xa337,000 per annum (inclusive of Marketing Supplement) for the permanent role

Role responsibilities

  • Delivering and assessing Electrical Engineering from level 1 to level 3 on the VRQ and NVQ Qualifications
  • Have high expectations of both academic achievement and student engagement
  • Be excellent at managing the progress of learners throughout their course programme
The person & qualifications
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Engineering.
  • Have Industrial experience.
  • Have a willingness to impart industrial knowledge to the next generation of Engineers
  • Hold a relevant Teaching Qualification or Assessors Award (or be willing to achieve within a set period from appointment)
  • Experience delivering on the VRQ and NVQ Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
