We are seeking passionate and committed Lecturers in ESOL (16-18 provision) to join our team on a fixed-term basis until the end of the 2025/26 academic year. Reporting directly to the Head of Section, you will play a key role in helping young people develop their English skills and achieve their progression goals in education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

As key members of our ESOL department, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons from Pre-Entry to Level 1, supporting the academic and personal development of our learners. You will contribute to the design of a dynamic curriculum that responds to the needs of students, local communities, and external stakeholders. In addition to teaching, you'll play an active role in organising enrichment opportunities including work experience, trips, visits, and guest speakers.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will have:A recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, or be working towards one An ESOL subject specialism, or a willingness to work towards this Experience delivering ESOL, and ideally Entry Level maths and/or ICT The ability to motivate, support and engage mixed-ability learners A commitment to inclusive practice and excellent learner outcomes Strong organisational and administrative skills A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to departmental development
