We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in Finance to join our team as a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting. This role will provide short- to long-term sick cover and will play a key role in delivering and assessing a range of Further Education programmes in Accounting and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and assess Finance and Accounting qualifications to a diverse student body across college campuses, learning centres, and workplace settings. Contribute to curriculum planning, course development, and the creation of teaching and learning materials. Support the development and standardisation of schemes of work and lesson plans. Participate actively in departmental and course team meetings and contribute to curriculum enhancement. Share best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment and take part in staff development sessions. Assist with the annual self-assessment process and improvement planning to ensure high-quality programme delivery.

Requirements:

A degree in Accounting, Business Studies, or a related field. Experience teaching Finance and/or Accounting at Further Education level. Confidence in delivering sessions both in-person and online. An AAT qualification or strong knowledge of AAT would be an advantage.
