Salary:

28,168 - 39,244 per annum, Academic Pay Grade 4 - 13 (dependant on skills, qualifications, and experience)



Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Lecturer in Health & Early Years - The Role:



We are seeking a passionate, forward-thinking Lecturer in Health & Early Years to join our dedicated team at Wiltshire College & University Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator who is committed to shaping the next generation of professionals in health, childcare, and early years education.



In this role, you will design, deliver, and assess engaging and inclusive learning experiences across a range of programmes within Health, Early Years, and related disciplines. You will play a key part in ensuring that our students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in their chosen careers.



Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to curriculum development, support student progression, and maintain strong links with industry and professional practice to ensure our courses remain relevant and future focused.

Lecturer in Health & Early Years - Key Responsibilities:



Deliver exceptional teaching and assessment across our Health & Early Years programmes. Develop and implement engaging schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment strategies. Support the holistic development of students by addressing their pastoral needs and contributing to enrichment activities. Ensure that teaching resources and practices are aligned with best practice and drive student success. Teach on a range of programmes, including Higher Education courses and Health T Levels.

Lecturer in Health & Early Years - You:



The ideal candidate will:

Hold a relevant degree in Health, Early Years, or a related field. Have proven experience teaching BTEC, A-Level, or Higher Education Early Years qualifications. A strong track record of driving student success and progression. A teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one). A dynamic and engaging teaching style that motivates and inspires students.
