About the Role
As a Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging and inclusive learning to students across a range of levels -- from Entry Level to Higher Education. Your role will include:
Planning and delivering high-quality, inspiring sessions using a range of teaching methods
Creating and assessing SMART targets to support student progression
Using technology and blended learning to enhance the curriculum
Supporting and guiding students with their academic and career goals
Contributing to course development and quality assurance processes
Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a high standard of teaching, learning, and student success
You'll also be involved in recruitment, open days, learner support, and internal verification activities, playing a vital role in the growth and success of the department.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
Qualified
in teaching (Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent), or
willing to work towards it
Holds a
relevant Level 3/4 qualification or degree
in Health & Social Care or a related field
Brings
industry experience
and up-to-date sector knowledge
A
motivator and role model
for learners of all backgrounds and abilities
Confident using
technology and e-learning tools
Organised, proactive, and committed to high-quality teaching
