We are now looking for a Lecturer in Human Resource Management to join our Swansea or Carmarthen campus on a full time, fixed term (9 month contract basis), working 37 hours per week.

THE ROLE

This role will involve providing maternity leave cover for an existing member of the team. The successful applicant will provide teaching support on the level 3, 5 and 7 people management programmes, as well as oversee the programme management of the level 3 programme. This full-time role will be fixed term in nature and will be situated in the Institute of Management and Health, with teaching taking place in Carmarthen and Swansea. Existing people management practitioners with experience in training and development at an organisational level, as well as current academics, are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Chartered Membership of the CIPD qualified, with experience of working in the people management field in a generalist role, or level 7 Associate status with the intention to upgrade on commencement of duties.
  • Experience of delivering learning - this might be to line managers in an organisational setting or other learning environment.
  • Professional work experience within the people management field.
  • Have an interest in all areas of people management including the business context and employment relations.
It would also be beneficial if you have:
  • Strong organisational and personal management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • IT proficiency and willingness to teach online, if necessary.
