- THE ROLE -

The post holder will contribute to the teaching of Journalism and Media at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and the development of research in Journalism and/or cognate areas. Journalism courses at Ulster provide comprehensive training in the skills needed to enter the journalism profession. The master\'s degree is accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists for print, online and broadcast journalism and has a strong record of graduate employment in the news industry.

- ABOUT YOU -

The postholder will be required to have:

- Recognised professional qualification in Journalism, e.g., undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, NCTJ Diploma in Journalism qualification, BJTC Diploma in Journalism qualification, or equivalent qualification.

- A PhD in journalism, media or relevant subject (or be near completion).
