Job Description

The University of Greenwich is seeking a committed Lecturer in Learning & Teaching to join Academic & Learning Enhancement (ALE), our central team that drives educational improvement, staff development and student success across the institution. This is an excellent developmental opportunity for someone motivated by evidence-informed teaching and curriculum innovation. As a member of ALE, you will contribute to the university's educational priorities through a blend of teaching, strategic project work, support and advice, and pedagogic research. You will support delivery of the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCertHE), provide academic tutoring for postgraduate learners, and contribute to new or enhanced teaching initiatives that promote inclusive learning, teaching and assessment. Working in partnership with faculty teams, you will offer tailored advice and development support informed by staff needs and student feedback.
You will play an active part in university-wide student success initiatives and support programme, module and curriculum development both within ALE and across the wider academic community. The role also includes student supervision, collaboration with professional services, and engagement with external bodies, professional organisations and employer partners. We are looking for a candidate with experience of teaching in higher education, supporting academic staff to enhance their practice, contributing to strategic student success initiatives, and a commitment to inclusive practice.
