About the role




Are you ready to play a key role in educating the next generation of motorsport engineers? Myerscough College is seeking an experienced and committed individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Motorsport, delivering high-quality teaching to our Higher Education students.


In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of a dynamic and industry-relevant curriculum, supporting students to develop both their academic understanding and practical skills. Your knowledge, professional experience, and enthusiasm for motorsport engineering will be central to guiding students through their studies and preparing them for progression into the sector.

Applicants for this role may be eligible for funding through the Taking Teaching Further programme from the DfE. To be eligible, you must be new to teaching and not already hold any teaching qualifications. You must be working towards or have a Level 2 qualifications in English & Maths, have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in your technical specialism and relevant industry experience. You may also be eligible for a financial incentive of 6000. The aim of the financial incentive is to attract those with the relevant knowledge and industry experience to teach in this specialist area in our College.
