21 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

Fixed term for 7 months

Grade 8: \xc2\xa341,931 - \xc2\xa3\xc2\xa352,841 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our award-winning team of educators and researchers in Occupational Therapy.

The School with its breadth of professional programmes delivers Physiotherapy, Public Health as well as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Nutrition, Dietetics, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science and Nursing, and as such is in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and inter-disciplinary learning and teaching and research.

You may already be working in a simulation role in another part of the School and this may be an opportunity to broaden your expertise in practice and simulation-based learning within another discipline.

With an interest in practice and simulation-based learning you will join a growing team of academics committed to developing future therapists and leaders through the creative development and delivery of our portfolio of programmes.

This new post has been created to support our work to innovate in the areas of practice-based and simulation-based learning. You will work with our professional practice tutors and coordinators to deliver a project to develop new and diverse learning opportunities for undergraduate and post-graduate occupational therapy students.

You will be welcomed into our interdisciplinary community of scholars where you can create career development opportunities encompassing teaching, research, development, and knowledge exchange activities that change people\xe2\x80\x99s lives for the better.

We would like to hear from you if:

  • You hold a good degree (e.g. Undergraduate at class 2 Div 1)
  • You are able to work as part of a small team on an innovative development project.
  • You have interest in or experience of practice-based or simulation-based learning, and evidence of active continuing professional development.
  • You have good interpersonal skills that enable you to display leadership and innovation with colleagues, students and partner networks.
