Faculty/Directorate
Paramedic Science sits within the School of Allied Health Professions, Midwifery & Social Work in the Faculty of Health and Social Care. This vibrant and dynamic school has a focus on excellent education and research informed practice. The paramedic science programme currently consists of an undergraduate Degree with a year in practice, making it unique. We work in close collaboration with partners in the NHS, private and voluntary sector to provide students with excellent practice based learning experience.
What you will be doing:
Leading teaching and practical sessions.
Designing and delivering high quality teaching sessions
+ Supporting students in the practice education component of their programme Being a personal academic tutor for students
Participate in research as appropriate
Qualifications/ experience:
HCPC registered paramedic
Experience of supporting students through practice education and/or
teaching
First degree in paramedicine (Masters or PhD preferred)
Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, or commitment to obtaining this following appointment.
