Lecturer in Plumbing
to join our Technical & Modern Construction Skills faculty. Whether you're already qualified or looking to move into teaching, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
Teach and assess plumbing courses from Level 1 to Level 3 (and possibly Level 4).
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support learners' progression and achievement.
Coordinate courses, support students' progress, and maintain key documentation.
Collaborate with a supportive team to innovate, develop, and improve the curriculum.
Possibly take part in internal verification and moderation.
What we're looking for:
A minimum Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Plumbing or a related subject (essential).
A recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or willingness to work towards one).
Up-to-date industry experience and a passion for sharing knowledge.
Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusive learning, and the highest teaching standards.
Desirable (but not essential):
Assessing or internal verification qualifications (e.g. A1/CAVA, V1/IQA).
Previous teaching experience in further education.
Experience with apprenticeships or course coordination.
