The Aston School of Computer Science and Digital Technologies is looking for two lecturers in Cyber Security and/or Software Engineering to help reinforce its research and teaching in these areas. As the successful candidate you will be expected to teach across several areas of the computer science and cyber security curricula. You would be someone with a strong research area in an aspect of Cyber Security or Software Engineering.

The school is experiencing a period of growth in terms of research activity and student recruitment in the digital sciences: computer science, cyber security, artificial intelligence and data science. You will have an opportunity to carry out research within our Cyber Security Research Centre (CyberHub) within the school. Collaborations are possible with a number of other research centres and institutes within the University, and candidates are encouraged to look at our website for more information.
You will be expected to have an excellent research track record, commensurate with your career stage, and show signs of innovative and independent thinking. You will be encouraged to actively participate in the development of new and exciting curricula.
