Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A' level offer in Cumbria.

Lecturer in Materials (Engineering)

We currently have part-time vacancy within our Engineering team. Join our dynamic engineering department at Furness College as a Lecturer in Materials (Engineering). We're seeking an enthusiastic passionate person with expertise in materials science or related fields to inspire the next generation of engineers. You'll contribute to high-quality teaching and curriculum development in a supportive and innovative environment.

Salary:

10,984- 16,828 per annum (Pro rata of 28,718-43,995)

Hours:

17 hours per week

Tenure:

Permanent

Annual Leave:

42 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure period (Pro rata for part time)
