About the Role:

The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including doctoral level studies. Our School of Medicine was established in 2018, and we have a full range of allied health, nursing and social work courses. We also offer a wide range of post graduate short courses and conferences. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research informed educational experience.

We are looking for a new team member to teach on our Surgical Care Practice programme within the School of Allied Health on our Chelmsford Campus. Working closely with fellow academics and clinicians you will lead a number of modules and take responsibility for designing and developing the associated learning and teaching materials.

With a degree or professional qualification related to perioperative practice and post qualification CPD, you\'ll have current HCPC, NMC or GMC registration, experience relating to the role of the Surgical Care Practitioner and extensive knowledge and experience of the perioperative environment in surgical and/or recovery care. With excellent written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal and negotiating skills, you\'ll have the ability to work co-operatively and as part of a team.
