HMP Bristol have an exciting opportunity for a Preparation for Work Lecturer to join their prison-based Education Team delivering accredited qualifications, covering essential topics such as Food Safety, Manual Handling and Health & Safety - skills that open doors to opportunities both in custody and upon release.
We are seeking a creative and motivated educator who can deliver engaging classes to learners who are based within the prison. Many learners have a diverse range of needs and may have had negative experiences of education in the past. Your role is to inspire confidence, create a positive, supportive learning environment and guide them through their courses.
A teaching qualification would be desirable, however those willing to work towards a teaching qualification who hold relevant quals/experience will be considered - we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
