The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at University Campus Oldham (Higher Education at Oldham College) for a Lecturer in Psychology.
We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic academic to teach on our BSc (Hons) Psychology courses. We want a candidate that is passionate about developing and delivering Psychological Studies and will help us shape our provision.

Delivering excellence in teaching and learning, the successful candidate will ensure the professional standards in education are met. You will be involved in the development and implementation of a dynamic, innovative and high quality, offer. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for assisting the course leader in the recruitment and admissions of students and ensuring that the provision is constantly meeting regulatory requirements.

As Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching modules across our BSc (Hons) Psychology and BSc (Hons) Psychology with Foundation Year.

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of Psychology and be confident teaching undergraduate students at Levels 3-6. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop their academic career in a small and friendly environment.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, which will include a teaching commitment of 630 hours per academic year.
