HMP Channings Wood have an exciting opportunity for a Resettlement Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team.
We are seeking a creative and inspiring Lecturer who can support a range of learning needs including working with the Kier Construction organisation preparing identified learners for employment on release which includes the delivery of the CSCS qualification. As a Resettlement Lecturer, you will be supporting learners to develop their employment skills which includes the L1 Waste and Recycling qualification as well as developing more advanced support skills through the delivery of a specific Level 2 Peer Mentoring qualification. The variety of delivery therefore allows the individual a degree of flexibility in line with the Annual Delivery Plan requirements. A formal teaching qualification is desirable and additional training will be provided to support the chosen candidate to fully complete this role.
