We seek an exceptional academic to join our dynamic School of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Edge Computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). What will you be doing?

You will be expected to:
Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of Edge Computing and Internet of Things with a special focus on hardware and publish high-quality outputs.
Pursue external funding opportunities and develop collaborative research networks.
Supervise postdoctoral research associates and postgraduate research students.
Design and deliver teaching material that inspires the next generation of engineers and computer scientists.
Play an active role in school activities and academic citizenship.
You should apply if

A PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or another relevant subject.
A developing (or established) research profile with publications in high-quality venues.
Experience of or commitment to high-quality, inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative ethos.
