About the role

University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in Project Management. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out teaching, research, and programme administration within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, in the field of Project Management consistent with the vision and mission of The School.



This is a fixed-term post January - December 2026.


About you

The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent knowledge of management of the built environment as well as an established track record of teaching at PGT and undergraduate level including the design and management of modules in higher education, preparation of course guides, lecture and seminars, setting of assessments and development of interdisciplinary teaching material. They should also have experience of teaching support and administration (i.e. curriculum design, exam boards and use of student records systems.



The appointee is required to have a higher degree or PhD in management, or project/construction/enterprise management and/or closely related discipline.



They will also have experience of research-led teaching, leadership and innovation in teaching practices, and fostering a positive supervision environment. The successful candidate will be able to work harmoniously with staff and students of all cultures and backgrounds and possess excellent stakeholder liaison and/or public engagement skills.
