About the role
University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in Sustainable Construction and AI. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out teaching, research, and programme administration within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, in the corresponding field, consistent with the vision and mission of The School. This post is available until 31 December 2026.
About You (Key requirements)
The successful applicant will be expected to be knowledgeable (both generally and in any specific area) about digital aspects of built and facilities asset management, and passionate and enthusiastic about teaching. The post holder will prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular lectures, tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of the relevant module requirements.
The appointee is required to have a PhD or equivalent relevant to the digital built environment and, or a related discipline. They will have a strong track record of teaching at postgraduate taught and undergraduate levels including the design and management of modules in higher education, preparation of course guides, lectures and seminars, setting of assessments and development of interdisciplinary teaching material.
They will also have knowledge of relevant practice in the field based on professional practice experience or academic research and publishing.
