Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to collaborate with colleagues to further develop the filmmaking degree, develop industry connections and train students to the standards required in today's film and TV industry. Develop master classes and contribute to open days and experience days to promote the course.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to the design, delivery, and assessment of modules in film design, post-production, and visual effects. Provide specialist teaching in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and other relevant industry software. Teach and support student projects in VFX, motion graphics, and digital design. Contribute to the development and delivery of a new module, The Future of Film, bringing expertise in AI, XR, virtual production, and related technologies.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure students understand both the creative opportunities and critical challenges posed by emerging technologies. Maintain professional practice and/or research in areas of design, post-production, and the future of film. Contribute to recruitment through community outreach, open days and masterclasses.
