Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, fostering an inspiring learning environment, and supporting students in their academic journey. Responsibilities



Deliver lessons, lectures and seminars in the designated subject area, following the course curriculum. Support students with variety of learning needs, providing guidance on subject material and assignments. Assist in the preparation and delivery of teaching materials and resources. Supports students in developing in academic skills including researching, writing and presenting. Maintain accurate records of students attendance, progress and assessments. Contribute to course planning, development and evaluation process. Attend meetings, training sessions and professional development activities as required.

Prepare and deliver high-quality lectures aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives Develop innovative teaching materials and utilise IT resources effectively to enhance student engagement Assess student work fairly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking Organise seminars, workshops, and extracurricular activities to enrich the learning experience Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental programmes and contribute to curriculum development Support students through academic advising and mentorship programmes

Requirements



Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven experience in teaching or lecturing within a relevant discipline Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate students and colleagues alike Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Proficient in IT tools and digital platforms used for teaching and administration Outstanding communication skills to effectively engage diverse student populations Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team A recognised qualification in the relevant field (e.g., degree or higher) is essential
