About the Role



We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Administrator to join our friendly Commercial Property department, based at our modern, open plan office in Stockton on Tees. The successful candidate will be joining a large, successful and supportive team and will provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to fee earners.

This is a busy and varied role, and the main duties will include:

Typing audio dictation, including letters, telephone and file notes

Preparing and updating legal documentation relevant to client matters

Maintaining files on our practice management system Proclaim

Conducting AML searches, media checks and conflict searches

Communicating with clients and other law firms

General administrative duties

About You



The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

Prior experience of working as a Legal Administrator / Secretary in a Commercial Property or related environment

Prior experience of using case management systems

Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases

Highly organised and hard working

Great communication skills and able to work well in a team

Ability to pick up new skills and systems easily

Strong initiative skills and a "can-do" approach

Keen eye for detail and able to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy

Able to manage priorities in a busy working environment
