About the Role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Legal Administrator to join our Family and Wills, Trusts and Probate departments, to provide effective secretarial and administrative support to fee earners. Based at our modern, open plan Newcastle city centre office, you will be joining our supportive and friendly teams.
This is a busy and varied role, and the main duties will include:
Opening and updating files on our practice management system
Checking client ID, conducting AML searches and media checks
Typing audio dictation, letters, and other documents
Preparing documentation and court bundles
Creating paying in slips and requisitioning payments
Corresponding with clients and other law firms

About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Prior experience working as a legal secretary, ideally within a Family or Wills, Trusts and Probate setting
Excellent IT and audio typing skills and experience of using Case Management Systems
The ability to prioritise and organise a busy workload
Strong communication and client care skills
The ability to work well in a team and also independently
A keen eye for detail with the ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
