Legal Secretary



Job Purpose



To assist fee-earners and senior management in secretarial support.

Core Activities



Liaising with Fee Earners and Barristers regarding conferences/Court Hearings Providing secretarial support to senior management Preparing correspondence and documents through audio typing/copy typing Contacting clients, Court, third parties Attending court to deliver limitation papers Liaising with client insurers to chase outlay Liaising with the court to chase court documents Preparing trial bundles Preparing settlement pack bundles Speaking with clients to confirm availability for conference calls/medical appointments Listening to call recordings and preparing call transcripts Preparing documents for signing where necessary

Skills



Data Input Software: Word, Outlook, Excel, Proclaim Attention to detail Organisation and admin skills Communication skills: written and verbal Ability to work individually or part as a team Work well under pressure

Knowledge



Principles of compensation claims system Proclaim system

Experience



Administration experience within a PI firm PC use Telephone Use
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 24,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
