Purpose of the Role

Provide dedicated support to the Head of AML and DPO across AML compliance, litigation management, data privacy, and reporting. This role plays a vital part in meeting regulatory obligations, managing sensitive legal processes, and ensuring smooth operations that protect the business and deliver positive customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Support AML compliance activities, including audits and high-risk case reviews, helping ensure the team meets regulatory standards. Assist with litigation matters and collaborate with Customer Experience to prevent escalations. Manage data privacy tasks, including DSARs and data deletion requests, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies. Provide administrative support for ad hoc legal tasks across AML, data protection, or litigation, helping the team operate efficiently. Deliver data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making and improve team outcomes. Support the tracking of training completion and assist in delivering training, promoting knowledge sharing and compliance across the team.

Skills & Attributes

Proven AML experience, including the ability to make informed decisions on high-risk cases. ICA Advanced Certificate in AML, or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS, or actively working toward one. (essential) Experience supporting or understanding litigation related tasks, meeting regulatory deadlines, and maintaining accuracy under pressure. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with initiative in problem-solving. Strong drive and results orientation, with a commitment to continuous improvement. In-depth understanding of GDPR and data privacy requirements. Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
