The Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join team.
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our solicitors and legal executives, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and forms
Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
Maintaining and updating client files and case management systems
Assisting with billing, time recording, and other financial administration
Liaising with clients and external organisations
Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with firm policies at all times
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant (desirable)
Strong knowledge of law procedures, conveyancing
Excellent typing and document production skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
Strong organisational and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
