We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant (Business Development Executive) to join our team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be SRA qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, and possess a solid understanding of legal practice combined with a strong aptitude for business development.
Key Requirements:
SRA Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE
Proven experience in legal practice and client handling in the UK
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to independently generate leads and convert prospects into paying clients
A proactive and target-driven approach to business development
Strong organizational and case management abilities
Responsibilities:
Manage legal matters with professionalism and attention to compliance
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in legal and corporate sectors
Generate leads through referrals, marketing campaigns, and networking
Conduct consultations and follow-ups to convert leads into clients
Work closely with marketing and digital teams to support promotional efforts
Develop strategic partnerships and alliances with relevant industry stakeholders
Prepare proposals, service presentations, and business pitches
Maintain CRM tools and manage client outreach and engagement metrics
Participate in industry events, legal expos, and seminars to grow the firm's profile
