We are seeking a proactive Legal Assistant to join our conveyancing team. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of conveyancing procedures including completion, stamping and registration.
Responsibilities
Conducting matter opening and closing.
Drafting property contracts and transfers.
Preparing and coordinating completions
Stamping
Registration
Providing administrative support for compliance issues
Requirements
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
A relevant qualification in law or paralegal studies is advantageous but not essential.
