The successful Legal Assistant will provide vital administrative support to the Legal Team, encompassing the management of systems and processes. This position plays an integral role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the Legal Department, optimising the efficiency of legal procedures, and upholding compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll be responsible for:
Provide administrative support ensuring key deadlines are met.
Assist the Legal Team with drafting various legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Oversee the maintenance and organisation of the company's contract database, ensuring all contracts are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Perform first line reviews of low-value contracts and NDAs, identifying any potential issues and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Manage the company's DocuSign system, distributing contracts for signature and ensuring timely execution.
Attend meetings and accurately document minutes, providing clear and concise records of discussions and decisions.
Conducting research on various legal issues, regulations, and case law relevant to the insurance industry.
Collaborate with the Procurement Team to complete due diligence responses from suppliers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

What you'll need:
Some proven experience as a corporate paralegal, demonstrating the ability to handle legal tasks effectively.
Proficiency in using IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office, document management systems and e-signature platforms like DocuSign.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in document drafting and contract reviews.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely in a legal context.
Ability to adapt to the changing requirements of the business and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in the Legal and Procurement Teams.
Ability to analyse legal issues and interpret regulations.
