As our Legal Assistant, you will provide legal support to the Property Team who aim to meet the requirements of clients by delivering a timely, efficient and professional legal service.
There is some direct responsibility for handling and processing legal information where care, accuracy and confidentiality are important, and you'll be required to prepare legal documents for distribution.
There is a regular and intrinsic requirement to communicate in English with members of the public, clients and other colleagues.
There is the option to undertake a formal training programme leading to a legal qualification. We are keen to support professional development of our staff, and thorough training in all aspects of the post will be given in order to ensure that you develop further skills through professional practice. You are encouraged to enrol on a CILEX or SQE approved course. Progression through the grade increments will be achieved by successful performance of specific and general work areas as set out in the Career Progression Scheme.
