We are excited to welcome a Legal Assistant to join our dedicated and passionate conveyancing team in Brighton, East Sussex. This role operates within a collaborative and supportive environment, under the guidance of our Head of Conveyancing. Seated amongst the conveyancing team, this role would suit someone outgoing, who is looking to take the next step in their legal career, or find an administration role where they can get stuck in and make a difference.
Your responsibilities will include speaking with clients by email, over the phone or in person, taking new enquiries, delivering fantastic customer service, booking appointments with solicitors, administration tasks to support the legal and management teams, liaising with multiple departments, physical and digital document management, maintaining accurate client records, providing cover for colleagues and all other aspects of office administration including but not limited to; matter opening and closing, drafting property contracts and transfers, preparing and coordinating completions, stamping, registering and all aspects of compliance administration.
You will have access to a wide variety of conveyancing enquiries, with the opportunity to learn from a dynamic environment that will expose you to clients and matters from a diverse range of backgrounds and needs.

Role Requirements
We require applicants for this role to have at least 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4, or Ato C (or equivalent), including Maths and English. You will also need to have a working knowledge of conveyancing procedures and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
A relevant qualification in law is advantageous but not essential.
