We are seeking a motivated and organised Legal Assistant to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support solicitors and gain experience in a professional legal environment. The successful candidate will assist with administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations within the department.al skills.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to solicitors and fee earners across the department.
Prepare and process legal documentation, correspondence, and forms under supervision.
Manage and maintain accurate client files, both electronic and paper-based, in line with firm procedures.
Assist with scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings.
Liaise with clients, third parties, and other professionals professionally and courteously.
Support the preparation of court bundles, contracts, statements, and other key documents.
Draft routine correspondence and manage incoming/outgoing communications.
Assist with billing preparation, file opening, and document management.
Ensure compliance with SRA, CQS, and firm policies, including confidentiality and data protection.
Experience
